Fundraising

The Community Park PTO is a non-profit organization, meaning all of the funds raised go directly back to the school & students. Each year the PTO spends more than $100 per student on programming...

all of the funds raised go back into great programming for our community!

Here's How We Make It Happen

Events Fundraisers

Direct Donations

Many of our children’s most memorable experiences at Community Park School are the work of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)—of which we’re all members. In past years, those experiences have included testing virtual reality at STEAM Day, learning the Flamenco from an artist-in-residence, or performing in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer's Night Dream with McCarter Theater staff. We provide teachers and students with classroom supplies, and ensure that all children receive a school shirt and equitable opportunities to attend after school clubs, summer camps, and more.

This year, the PTO must raise more than $40,000—more than $100 per child enrolled at CP in order to continue funding our children’s favorite enrichment activities, work on replacing aging playground equipment, and supporting the needs of our school community.

Please consider contributing to our direct donations campaign and checking to see if your employer has a matching funds initiative so that we can maximize contributions in order to bring the best programming possible to our kids for this school year.

Here's how:

Zelle: Send Zelle payment to treasurer@cppto.org
(Zelle is a free, secure service available via most banks and credit unions)

Venmo: Send Venmo payment to @CPPTO

Credit Card: Click here for our direct donation page in Konstella

Check: Payable to "CP PTO" mailed or dropped off to Community Park School, Attn: CP PTO, 372 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ, 08542.

NOTE: Donations to the CP PTO are tax deductible (EIN #22-3600180). If your employer matches charitable donations, please send your Matching Funds Application to treasurer@cppto.org

Where the Money Goes

As part of the PTO, you should know exactly where your donations are being spent. Here is a summary of the 2022-2023 PTO spending and supported programming.

Our 2023-2024 Goals & Initiatives

Playground Upgrades

Our playground could use a little TLC. While we will be having a larger capital campaign for this massive project, small improvements will be done as funds are available.

Teacher Support

There are so many ways we can support the teachers throughout the year. Their special projects always need love and our funds go a long way in helping them do even more amazing things.
